EDAC offers system design, system integration and installation for all of its hardware products. The result is a turn-key solution which is pre-tested in our lab, installed at your site and integrated into your environment.

The EDAC Implementation Process

The successful implementation of any solution is one of the first steps in achieving customer satisfaction. EDAC believes that the implementation process begins long before the contract is signed. Development of the recommended solution begins by assigning a tenured project team that remains throughout the sales and analysis process continuing through contract signing, implementation, post-implementation, and contractual term.
A successful partnership between EDAC and its customer depends upon an open exchange of information. EDAC professionals work with its customers to gather appropriate information and provide insights and observations from this research. EDAC uses a variety of tools, including user surveys, focus group interviews, and data collection methods to gather relevant information. The compilation of this data allows EDAC to recommend a customized strategy that optimizes The customer's investment and capitalizes on new technologies for document imaging and management.

Structured Approach

EDAC believes that a consistent, well-planned approach to each project challenge results in solutions that are less likely to need costly adjustments later. EDAC's structured approach ensures only the most relevant business technologies are used for OGP recommended solution. This project management method includes the following five phases:

EDAC uses these five phases, or methodology framework, to ensure a fluid, comprehensive transition and implementation as follows:

Phase 1 - Discover

The Discover Phase includes detailed meetings, interviews, and structured data-gathering techniques to identify specific business objectives. Through this in-depth review, EDAC develops a thorough understanding of the customers requirements.

Phase 2 - Design

During the Design Phase, EDAC analyzes information gathered throughout the Discover Phase and formulates a detailed, verifiable design for the Implementation Phase. EDAC uses these findings to develop, document, and validate a project that encompasses and fulfills business objectives and identifies product and technology requirements.

Phase 3 - Plan

The goal of the Plan Phase is to establish user expectations and minimize implementation risks. All relevant project tasks, task interrelationships, and the resources needed to complete the project on schedule and within budget are identified during the Plan Phase. An important component of the Plan Phase is to identify products that meet a variety of requirements. With the ability to offer multiple manufacturers' solutions, EDAC addresses a broad diversity of customer needs. Partnerships with multiple vendors also allow EDAC to offer "best of breed" products from all of the possibilities available to customers today.

Phase 4 - Implement

Based on a well-defined plan, the project is implemented as designed using EDAC resources to produce agreed-upon results in a timely and cost-effective manner. The project plan is reviewed and modified (if necessary) until all of the project objectives have been met.

Phase 5 - Support

Support needs identified during the Discover, Design, and Plan Phases are modified as necessary following implementation. EDAC and its customer work together to determine appropriate support methods and services - such as initial and follow-up training, specific support agreements and measures, and ongoing project upgrades and innovations
